Johan & Nyström Dark Knight Organic and Fairtrade Certified Espresso is both chocolatey and powerful, smooth and sweet, with a rich, smooth finish.

The coffee comes from two cooperatives – Incahuasi in Peru and Comicovel in Honduras. Rotation of origins is done in late spring and again in early winter to ensure coffee is in season and tasting fresh year-round.

Incahuasi, Peru
Johan & Nyström have been purchasing coffee from Incahuasi since 2016. The cooperative is located in the Cusco region, in southern Peru, and was founded in 2005. Today, the cooperative has 480 members who work hard to gradually improve quality. They invested in dryers and equipment to better process the coffee.

Comicovel, Honduras
The cooperative was founded in 2016 as a result of the Catholic Relief Services ‘Blue Harvest’ project. This concerns the agronomic development of the forest, as well as the efficient use of water resources.
Johan & Nyström started buying coffee from Comicovel in 2022.
